ABOUT
Hope Soccer 2026 is all about promoting mental health awareness and building legacy programs before and after the FIFA World Cup. We are a group of skilled coaches, international soccer specialists, management consultants, and mentors looking to promote Grassroots Soccer in the United States and Africa.
Hosting the 2026 World Cup will leave behind legacy programs that will benefit undeserved local communities within a host city, as well as the rest of the country. Each soccer match has an average television audience of 190 million viewers worldwide. To put that into perspective, the Super Bowl had 94.4 million viewers in 2021. It's estimated that the number of matches will increase from 64 million to 80 million and the number of qualifying teams will grow from 32 teams to 48 teams. Hosting the World Cup in 2026 could create more than $5 billion in economic activity for North America.

HISTORY
2006 - Germany
The 18th FIFA World Cup took place in 2006. Germany won the right to host the event in July 2000, making it the second time Germany would be hosting (the first as a unified country), and the tenth time that it would be held in Europe. Italy beat France in the final, which attracted an estimated audience of 715.1 million people.
2010 - South Africa
In 2004 FIFA selected South Africa to become the first African nation to host the finals. Spain beat the Netherlands and became the eighth nation to win the tournament and the first European nation to win a World Cup hosted outside its home continent. It's estimated that 909.6 million people watched at least part of the final match.
2014 - Brazil
After being awarded the hosting rights in 2007, Brazil staged the competition (the fifth time being held in South America). Fans consider this edition of the FIFA World Cup to be one of the greatest ever held. In the final, Germany defeated Argentina to secure the country's fourth world title. This event brought in 1.01 billion viewers.
